Excite your taste buds with Rowan's sweet and spicy Rowse Honey Ginger Biscuits. From his successful flavour pairings on the Great British Bake Off, Rowan has coupled our honey's deep caramel tones with the warmth of ginger, to craft a recipe that you just can't keep your hands off! A perfect treat to elevate your baking repertoire

    Preheat your oven to 160c and line a baking tray with a silicone mat or parchment paper. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar for a couple of minutes, or until light and fluffy.

    Add the orange extract or zest, followed by the Rowse Dark & Rich honey. Beat this into the butter and sugar. Then, add the egg. Gently fold in your dry ingredients and form a ball.

    Refrigerate for an hour.

    Roll out onto a floured surface until 1/4cm thick and cut out your shapes.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes.

    In the meantime, make the royal icing. Add all your ingredients into a bowl and beat with a hand whisk until thick. Cover with cling film to avoid it crusting over.

    Pipe your decoration onto your biscuits, and serve!
