Method
- 1
Place the beef mince in a mixing bowl. In the KitchenAid K400 blender, blitz the bread into crumbs and add to the bowl with the beef.
- 2
Chop the onion and place in the blender. Add the spices, herbs, salt and Rowse Dark and Rich Honey. Blitz into a smooth paste and add to the mixing bowl.
- 3
Add the egg to the bowl and give everything a good mix up (you will need to use your hands!).
- 4
Turn on the grill to medium and line a baking tray with foil. Mix the soy sauce with 2 tablespoons of the Rowse Dark and Rich Honey.
- 5
Take a handful of beef mixture and shape into a burger patty then place on the prepared tray. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
- 6
Place the burgers under the grill for 3 minutes then turn them over for another 3 minutes.
- 7
Remove from the grill and brush both sides of the burgers with the soy/honey mix using a pastry brush. Return to the grill for a further 3 minutes on each side or until the burgers are cooked all the way through, no pink meat.
- 8
Serve in a brioche bun with a salad and homemade chips. Delicious!
